2017 Mini-Masterclass at Eastercon

The Science Fiction Foundation is sponsoring a Mini-Masterclass in Science Fiction Criticism at Innominate, the 2017 Eastercon, in the Hilton NEC Metropole, Brimingham. The Mini-Masterclass is a taster for the main Masterclass, an intensive course where you can broaden your critical perspectives, sharpen some critical tools, and make contacts with other people writing on SF and Fantasy.

At 10 am on Sunday 16 April, in the Surrey room, Clarke Award winning author and BSFA Award nominated critic Geoff Ryman will lead a discussion of 'What Does It Mean When A Man Falls From The Sky' by Lesley Nneka Akrimah, and 'The Encounter' by Nnamdi Amyadu.

The class will require pre-registration, and numbers are limited. Please sign up at the Registration desk. Only members of Innominate may take part in this event.

(Unfortunately the other planned Mini-Masterclass has had to be cancelled.)
